Check Out the Challenges

Wave Goodbye to Boredom
When life offers you the chance to take early retirement it only took a little deliberation before going for it. It’s not something I have regretted. However my friends & colleagues were a little surprised & convinced I would become bored. Bombarded with questions about how I planned to spend my time, as a joke I said I was going to be an ‘influencer’. All well & good except I didn’t really know what one really was or how to become one. What I did know was that you had to have content of some sort so here was a major hurdle.
Old Computers
I had briefly written articles for an on line magazine but content creation was a whole new challenge in its self especially for someone who didn’t own a mobile phone until I was 30 & their first computer only had about 128mb ram. Technology & I have come a long way since then as RAM is now measured in giga bytes on phones & computers.
So in a ploy to generate content my daughter suggested asking guests at the retirement party to suggest ideas in the form of challenges that I could have a go at. I have been trying to have a go at achieving them. In some cases require me gaining a number of new skills to complete.
Learning new skills
Making videos & editing have been one of the side challenges & developing various social media platforms too. My followers may be small in number but interestingly I have had some messages from some that indicate that my efforts have inspired them to enjoy life more. This has made the whole endeavour seem worth while if I am honest.

I am currently working my way through in no particular order other than attempting what seem the simplest first so that I can try out some of the filming and recording!
